27). RILLA SUCI FAJRIA 1914901736 ABSTRACT Childbirth is a natural process that will be near to every pregnant woman, which is the release of the baby's conception and the placenta. The contractions of the uterus will cause pain for the mother who is going through labor. Labor pain is something that cannot come from the birth process. Handling and monitoring labor pain, especially during the first stage of the active phase is very important, because this is a determining point whether a mother in labor can undergo normal labor to divert the pain of labor during the active phase of labor, non-pharmacological measures are carried out, namely Massage Effluerage and Counterpressure aimed at providing a sense of comfort and relax in the patient, can relieve pain. The purpose of analyzing cases in patients during active stage 1 labor with labor contractions pain in the Midwifery Room of Kayutanam Health Center. The results of the intervention in the form of Effluerage and Counterpressure Massage on the pain of patients during the 1st stage of active labor have been able to overcome the pain problem, but the pain reduction cannot be decreased directly but can distract the patient to relax. So it can be said that the intervention intervention is in the form of Effluerage and Counterpressure massage in the form of labor pain during the active stage. It is recommended that nurses apply Massage Effluerage and Counterpressure in providing nursing care to labor pain patients.
