Abstract

The appearance of excess protein in the urine during pregnancy can be a health problem.lack of public awareness about the health of pregnant women, which is still low, is a determining factor for child mater nal mortality and infant mortality, in addition, due to the relationship between high blood pressure and high level of protein in the urine, especially at the end of pregnancy this study aims to determine the resulth urine protein examination in pegnant women. This reseach is descriptive that is done to explain the data obtained from then observation, then clearly described. The method is used on this research is acetic acid heating. Population of all pregnant women who were diagnosed by clinicians and samples examined as much as 30 person. From the research that has been done then got the result of protein examination in pregnant women at puskesmas salido kota painan, obtained 20 pregnant women sample of negativef urine with 66,66% 7 pregnant women sample of positive urine 23,33% and 3 others pregnant women sample get positive urine two (++) with percentage 10%. In this studiy obtained the result of positive urine protein (+) as much as tujuh person positive urine protein tiga (++) as much as 3 person.
