Abstract

Examination of hemoglobin (Hb) is an important thing as a screening examination to assist in establishing a diagnosis, as a reflection of the body's reaction to a disease, and as an indication of progress in therapy for patients with anemia or other diseases. hemoglobin examination using the Hematology Analyzer method, which results in a much more accurate examination and is the gold standard. If there is a power outage, the reagents are not available, or if there is damage to the Hematology Analyzer, the hemoglobin (Hb) level is checked using the POCT (Point of care testing) method and the purpose of this study is whether there is a difference in hemoglobin (Hb) levels using the POCT (Point) method. Of Care Testing) and Hematology Analyzer. The research method used is descriptive analytic research. The sample in this study was 30 samples from the existing population and were taken randomly. Data analysis was carried out using the paired sample t test (Dependent) statistical test. If p<0.05, then the null hypothesis is rejected, which means that there is a difference in the average results of the Hemoglobin examination between the Hematology Analyzer method and the results of the Hemoglobin examination using the POCT method. After being determined by statistical tests using the T test, the sig value is 0.000. Where this value is smaller than sig 0.05. So Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the examination of Hemoglobin levels using the Hematology Analyzer Method and (POCT) Point Of Care Testing.
