Abstract

11.FEGYA RIMENDHA BARSEY 1814201255 ABSTRACT Background: Early childhood belongs to the golden period which is a period of the golden growth of children that occur once in life. The introduction of the child to the gadget usually starts from the wrong way of transferring from a parent or family by showing the game or video in the gadget so that the child does not fuss or stop crying. Gadgets have a positive and negative impact. Method: The design of the research used is cross sectional, where dependent and independent variables are measured at the same time i.e. to know the relationship between Gadget addiction and social development and child language. The population number is 35 people with sampling techniques are total sampling results: There is a gadget addiction relationship with social development and child language in PAUD Mutiara Bunda at the health care area of Sungai Dareh in 2019 with P = 0,002. Conclusion and suggestion: it was concluded that the gadget addiction has an influence on social development and language of early childhood. Therefore, education and monitoring of child growth is needed for children's development, especially social and language development.
