MENTI SINAGA (50): 12103084105062 12 ` 03,084,105,062 Differences Kangaroo Care Method With Improved Care Incubator Against Weight Gain In Non Perinatology LBW Infants Hospital Mochtar Bukittinggi dr.Achmad 2014 CHAPTER VI vii + + 8 + 52 page appendix table +7 ABSTRACT The problem that researchers have found in the field of the observation of the postpartum mother who did kangaroo care method , within 1 week baby kangaroo method of treatment has increased as much as 1-2 ounces BB , whereas infants who received incubator care not gain weight . The purpose of this study was to determine differences in treatment with incubator care kangaroo method of weight gain in low birth weight infants in room Perinatology Hospital Mochtar Bukittinggi dr.Achmad 2014 . This study was conducted on 23 January 2014 - 14Februari . The design is quasi-experimental design using a type of pre-test and post-test nonequivalent sample design time . The population in this study was LBW infants who meet the criteria , with a total sampling technique , with a total of 14 people . The collection of data on a balance sheet and weight measurements , statistical tests used the independent sample t - test test . Results of statistical tests on the kangaroo care method in getting P value < α ( 0.049 < 0.05 ) , of incubator care showed P value < α ( 0.033 < 0.05 ) then Ha is accepted that there is a difference between the kangaroo care method incubator care of weight gain in low birth weight infants in room Perinatology Hospital Mochtar Bukittinggi dr.Achmad 2014 . Suggested to the health care institution is expected that the official in -room nurses are given training Perinatology kangaroo care method . Incubator care in order to diimplemantasikan in the delivery of nursing care . For further research in order to conduct research using other designs such as quasi-experimental design or true experiment .
