Abstract

Latar belakang dan tujuan : pemeriksaan hitung sel trombosit sering dilakukan dilaboratorium klinik sesuai permintaan dokter untuk diagnosis penyakit demam berdarah dengue. Lama penyimpanan darah dapat mempengaruhi jumlah trombosit.Tujuan penelitian mengetahui perbedaan hasil jumlah trombosit yang diperiksa langsung dengan disimpan 12 jam. Jenis penelitian observasi analitik dengan desain cross sectional study , dilakukan di RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang pada bulan Mei sampai Juli 2022. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah semua pasien yang melakukan pemeriksaan jumlah trombosit sebanyak 30 sampel. Trombosit diperiksa menggunakan whole blodd metode impedants dengan alat hematologi Analyzer. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata jumlah trombosit diperiksa langsung 139,20 mm/³ ± 88,773SD dan disimpan 130,90 mm/³ ± 77,656SD. Terdapatnya perbedaan yang bermakna antara jumlah trombosit lansung dengan tidak langsung disimpan selama 12 jam pada suhu ruang p Value 0.016. Kesimpulan jumlah trombosit disimpan pada suhu ruang menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan.. ABSTRACT Background and purpose: examination of the platelet cell count is often carried out in the clinical laboratory according to the doctor's request for the diagnosis of dengue hemorrhagic fever. The duration of blood storage can affect the number of platelets. The aim of this study was to find out the difference in the results of the number of platelets that were examined directly and stored for 12 hours. This type of analytic observation research with a cross sectional study design, was conducted at dr. Rasidin Padang from May to July 2022. The population used in this study were all patients who had 30 samples of platelet counts checked. Platelets were examined using the whole blood impedants method with a hematology analyzer. The results showed that the average number of platelets checked directly was 139.20 mm/³ ± 88.773SD and stored 130.90 mm/³ ± 77.656SD. There was a significant difference between the number of platelets directly and indirectly stored for 12 hours at room temperature p value 0.016. The conclusion is that the number of platelets stored at room temperature causes a decrease. Keywords: platelets, checked directly, stored 12 hours.
