Abstract
ABSTRACT Malaria is a disease that is still a public health problem because it often causes unexpected events, impacts life and the economy, and can cause death. Malaria is usually found in remote areas. But not only that, mountainous and hilly areas can also be one of the malaria endemic areas. Tha purpose of this study was to describe the increase in malaria cases at RSUD Dr. M. Zein Painan in 2022. This type of research is descriptive to see malaria cases in RSUD Dr. M. Zein Painan in 2022. The samples used in this study were data from malaria exiamination results in the Dr. RSD laboratory. M. Zein Painan. The results of the study of 30 cases of malaria showed that 15 samples were positive for malaria in patients. The type of malaria found was Pasmodium falciparum.
