Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the germ Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is often found in people who live in environments with high population density. If tuberculosis is not treated properly it can cause drug resistance and complications in the form of extensive lung damage and even death. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of SGOT scores on MDR TB patients who had undergone anti-TB drug therapy at North Labuhanbatu Regional Hospital. This type of research is analytical research with a prospective cohort approach, namely by taking blood from TB patients who have met predetermined sample criteria, namely samples from TB patients who are already resistant. This analysis was carried out using statistical tests, namely validity tests, normality tests and t-tests which were processed with a computer program. The results of the hypothesis analysis of the influence of anti-TB drug resistance show that the t-test results show that the t count is 6.211 and the t-table is 2.602 with a significance value of p 0.000. Because t count > t-table and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, this result shows that there is a significant difference. This shows that there is an influence of Anti-Tuberculosis Drug (OAT) therapy on SGOT values in MDR- TB patients at North Labuhanbatu Hospital. The conclusion of this research is that based on the results of data analysis, descriptions, testing of research results and discussion, a conclusion can be drawn, namely: There is a significant effect of administering anti-TB drugs on SGOT values in MDR-TB patients at North Labuhanbatu Regional Hospital, after drug therapy. anti-TB for 4 months SGPT levels have increased but as much as 87.5% are still on the verge of normal. It is necessary to check SGOT values regularly, before, during or after administering Anti-Tuberculosis Drug (OAT) therapy with or without indications, for more effective treatment. It is necessary to carry out further research with a larger sample size.
