Abstract

21.PURNAMA PUTRI DESMI 1714201163 ABSTRACT According to the World Health Organization (WHO), as of April 30, 2020, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the world has reached more than 3.2 million cases spreading in 213 countries or territories. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in the world has reached 228,000 or a fatality rate of around 7.1 percent. Data from the Padang Laweh Health Center in Sijunjung Regency in 2021 obtained 25.690 people. There were 15 people who tested positive for Covid 19. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and community readiness to receive the covid 19 vaccine in the Padang Laweh Health Center Work Area, Sijunjung Regency in 2021. Descriptive method of correlation with a cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted in July 2021 in the Padang Laweh Health Center Work Area, Sijunjung Regency, the number of research samples was 100 people, with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire and the data were univariate and bivariate. Univariate results in this study showed that 54% of respondents had a high level of knowledge and 57% of respondents had unpreparedness for vaccination. Bivariate results obtained p value 0.001, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and community readiness to receive the covid 19 vaccine in the Padang Laweh Health Center Work Area, Sijunjung Regency in 2021.
