Abstract

11. WESRY PURNAMA LINDA: 2330282015 ABSTRACT There are 1,726 elderly gouty arthritis sufferers at the Singkarak Community Health Center. (Solok District Health Service, 2023). This professional scientific paper aims to provide family nursing care for Mr. H By Providing Non- Pharmacological Therapy with Cinnamon Compress to Reduce Gout Arthritis Pain in the Jorong Belimbing Nagari Koto Sani Area in 2024. The method used in this Professional Scientific Writing work is a case study carried out based on the stages of nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, intervention , implementation and evaluation of nursing. The results of Professional Scientific Writing found 2 nursing diagnoses, namely ineffective health management related to the complexity of the care/treatment program and ineffective health maintenance related to the inability to overcome problems. The intervention and implementation was carried out for 4 days and a nursing evaluation was obtained on Mr. H that the pain has decreased, the pain scale is 2, activities can be done alone, the risk of falling has decreased. Uric acid levels decreased to 6.2 mg/dL. Suggestions for Gout Arthritis sufferers are to carry out Non-Pharmacological Cinnamon Compress Therapy to be able to reduce the pain of Gout Arthritis and for community health centers to provide education on how to reduce pain in Gout Arthritis patients.
