Abstract

23.SITTI AFIFAH MARSYAH: 1914201300 ABSTRACT Among adolescents many do bullying behavior, is an action taken by someone to hurt, insult, pressure, mentally drop and control others by doing violence, bullying behavior can be caused by unwise parenting in educating children, and also influenced by how parents respond to bullying behavior . This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between parenting and attitudes towards bullying behavior in adolescents at SMKN 1 Rambah in 2023. This study used analytical descriptive research method with cross sectional design. The sample in this study was 87 students at SMKN 1 Rambah with a sampling technique, namely cluster random sampling research instrument used in the form of questionnaires. The results of this study were obtained by 87 respondents there was a parenting style with a good category as much as 50.6%, parental attitudes with a bad category as much as 44.8% and bullying behavior with a category that occurred as much as 52.9%. based on the results of this study, it was found that parenting styles with bullying behavior P-Value of 0.000 and OR 0.076 were related. Parents' attitudes with bullying behavior p-value 0.001 and OR 0.205 were related. It was concluded that there is a relationship between parenting and parental attitudes with bullying behavior in adolescents. So it is important to conduct counseling on bullying behavior in adolescents by the school, family and related parties so as to prevent the occurrence of bullying in students
