Abstract

Stunting is a common problem in developing countries. Factors that cause toddler stunting include worm infections, economic reasons, and lack of nutritional knowledge. Based on data from the integrated health post in Kampung Baruh Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, Jambi, many toddlers suffer from stunting. This study aims to determine the relationship between worms and the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Kampung Baruh Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, Jambi. The type of research used is observational. The population of the study was stunted toddlers in Kampung Baruh Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, Jambi. The sample used in this study was 20 samples obtained using the Proportional Purposive Sampling technique, using the native method (direct, slide) with microscopic examination. Data was processed using coding and tabulating. Based on the research conducted with the Chi-Suare test, the P value was 0.515> 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between worms and stunting in toddlers in Kampung Baruh Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, Jambi.
