Abstract

BELLA ANDINI (5) Reproductive health is an important issue to get more attention especially among adolescents. Flour albus or whitish is an abnormal vaginal secretion in women. Flour albus is usually accompanied by itching within the vagina and outer pubic lips. The lack of knowledge about girls on flour albus can affect their attitudes less attention to the incidence of flour albus. Based on the testimony of female students of SMK Negeri Kuranji obtained from 10 female students, that 6 teenagers said less know what is flour albus, flour albus type, cause flour albus, flour albus symptoms, and how to overcome it, while 4 young women said to know about flour albus or vaginal discharge. The aim is to identify the relationship of knowledge and attitude of adolescent girls with the occurrence of flour albus in adolescent girls in SMP Negeri 4 Kuranji.Desain this is descriptive correlation with approach of cross sectional with sample 45 respondents in accordance with predefined sample criterion. This study used questionnaire. Bivariate results showed that there was a correlation between knowledge and attitude of young woman about flour albus occurrence (p value = 0,003) and OR = 9,100 mean that respondent having high knowledge had 9,100 chance of having flour albus event.The result of this research can be concluded that there is correlation of knowledge and attitude of adolescent girl about flour albus event at SMP Negeri 4 Kuranji 2018. It is suggested to school to give health promotion about flour albus incident, so it can improve health degree in adolescent. And for educational institutions to further deepen the knowledge of health students by increasing knowledge about the occurrence of flour albus.
