Abstract

ADRE AMRO RAHMA (7) ABSTRACT Hospitals, especially in Emergency Installations (EI) have a role as the main gate to the influx of emergency patients. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a hospital room with a hospital staff and special equipment on the go to manage patients with the disease, trauma or complications to care for and treat patients with life-threatening. The purpose of this research is to know the relation of knowledge and attitude towards the implementation of emergency nurses complete documentation of nursing actions in the installation of Emergency And ICU Suliki Lima Puluh Kota 2012. Design research is descriptive correlation by approach cross sectional. The population is nurse who are in the room er and icu with respondents 39 people with total sampling techniques. Data in form of koisioner and observation. Data mixed with a computerized system. Data analysis in univariat and bivariat with chi-square with degrees trust 95 %. The research found most (82,1%) nurses have the knowledge high. more than separoh (61.5%) still have a negative attitude. that more than half (51.3%) of respondents who do not carry out the Act of Nursing equipment. From the results of this research show there is a meaningful relationship between knowledge (p = 0,044) and attitude (p = 0.002) and carries out of completeness of documenting the action. Knowledge and attitude towards implementation of the highly influential the completeness of documenting the nursing actions. To that end, it is expected that further enhance the nurse's knowledge and attitude to be more aware and willing to carry out the Act of nursing documentation completeness.
