Abstract
Nematodes are one of the most common types of parasitic worms found in the human body. Nematodes that live in the human intestine are called intestinal nematodes. Intestinal nematode worms are cosmopolitan, especially found in humid regions, namely in tropical and subtropical countries, where worm eggs and larvae develop more. In Indonesia, helminth infections are still a major problem in public health because the prevalence is still high at around 45-65%, even in certain areas that have poor environmental sanitation, heat and humidity and the prevalence of helminth infections can reach 80%. This study aims to determine the presence or absence of identification of intestinal nematode worm eggs in family members in KenagarianInderapura conducted from February to June 2019. This type of research uses descriptive epidemiological surfey, with a total sample of 10 family card members with 38 people. The results showed that the number of families infected with worm eggs was 11 people, 9 people (23.68%) ascarislumbricoides, and 2 people (5.26%) trichuristrichiura. Spread at 8 kk while 2 kk are free from helminthiasis. Keywords : Stool, ascarislumbricoides, trichuristrichiura
