Abstract

Malaria is still a public health problem in Indonesia, due to high morality and mortality rates especially in developing countries including western markets. In the transmigration region there is a mixture of residents from endemic areas and those not endemic to malaria. There are still frequent cases or epidemics that cause many deaths. The research was done to know the prevalence of Malaria disease in Pasaman Barat Hospital in 2017. Data recapitulation result of malaria examination at rekamedik in RSUD Pasaman Barat 2017 get get the positive data of Malaria according to age 21-30 years that is 4 people (36,4 %), according to the gender of male 7 people (63,6%) women as many as 3 people (36,4%), malaria data based on group of residence that is 3 people (27,3%) and work based 7 people (63.6%).
