Abstract

Hemoglobin is a protein that contains iron and serves as a transporter of O2 from the lungs to the entire body or it can also be referred to as an O2 binder. Under normal circumstances hemoglobin levels in adult males are 14-18 g / dl while adult women are 12-16 g / dl. In the pathological state of hemoglobin levels is often an increase or decrease that is very far from the normal value, many factors that can affect the hemoglobin levels, such as gender, age and geography. In the examination of hemoglobin done two types of sampling through the veins and capillary blood vessels. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of hemoglobin examination of venous blood sianmethemoglobin method with capillary blood in laboratory examination patient at Puskesmas Situjuh jorong Bandar In Kenagari Bandar Bandar Kecamatan Situjuh Limo Nagari District of Lima Puluh Kota 30 samples. The type of research used is descriptive analytic research with cross sectional design. The study was conducted in March - June 2018 at the Situjuh Health Center Laboratory. From the result of the research between the level of hemoglobin level on venous blood and capillary blood, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in the results of the research that the average hemoglobin blood vein rate was 11.34 gr / dl and mean the capillary blood hemoglobin level was 11.25 gr dl there is a difference in hemoglobin levels in blood venous taking with capillary blood by the method of sianmethemoglobin.
