Abstract

In Indonesia there are still many diseases a public health problem, one of which is a worm infection that is transmitted through the Soil Transmitted Helminths. These groups of worms that cause public health problems including hookworm Indonesia namely : Necator americanus and Ancylostoma duodenale. Has conducted a study of 60 primary school pupils N 10 Sapiran excl. Stikes Perintis Padang This study aims to determine the relationship of hookworm infection on height and weight, with a basis for taking n random sample of the entire population. Fecal examination conducted Stool method. From the results of the examination have been done no positive results were obtained infected by hookworms that weight and height measurement is not done. This is because the level of knowledge and awareness of parents about keeping children and environmental hygiene is quite high.
