Abstract

Tuberculosis is in infection disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is contagious. Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis characterized by granuloma formation in infected tissue. Indonesia is now the number 3 country in thhe world with the largest number of TBC cases after the PRC and India. Based on the health profile of the province of western Sumatra, it is seen that there are still high positive cases and the highest number of patients are in the city of Padang. Research has been done to fine out the positive picture and comparison in Puskesmas Rawang in 20162017. From the reseach results obtained are processed by using frequency test. From the statistical test was obtained in 2016, from 180 people suspected tuberculosis lung disease on a positive microscopic examination as many as 5 people with a percentage of 2,78%, and negative as many as 175 people with a percentage of 96,4%. And in 2017 out of 300 suspected tuberculosis was positive as many 17 people with 5,6% and negative percentage, as many as 283 people with a percentage of 94,4%. From the examination of pulmonary tuberculosis disease at the Rawang community health center, in 2016 it was found that out of 180 suspects, 3 men were positive (1,66%) and positive women 2 (1,13%) positive. And in the year 2017 found positive male suspects as many as 10 people (3,3%) and female positive suspect as many as people (2,3%). From above file got conclusion that there is increase of positive case in public health center of Rawang, but the case of negative patients is still quite high. As for sputum sample in the laboratory at community health centers Rawang quality is still not good because itis sit is contaminated with saliva water so it is not good for examination and coloration BTA.
