Abstract

Diabetes Melitus is a chronical disease of the levels of blood glucose is raised above the normal range (hyperglycemia). This condition is make disorder carbohydrate metabolisme in the body. Metabolic disorder among other the body have trouble of fungtion insulin. This disorder will be make trouble also to the fat metabolic, it is characterized by increased levels fat derivatives such as Triglyserides and Cholesterol. Because of that, the author would like to see the correlation of blood glucose levels and Triglicerides in patiens of type 2 Diabetes Melitus. Method of examination to blood glucose levels that is use Enzymatic Colorrimetric Method. The reaserch was done in dr Rasidin Hospital Padang by 30 patien type II Diabetes Melitus take from vena blood. Data of which got do to express existence between rate glucosa with Trigliserida. The result of research get that there are the relation which weak between rate glucose with Trigliserida, matter this show by correlation coefficient (r) which got is 0,327. Key word : Diabetes Melitus tipe II, blood glucose, Trigliserida.
