Abstract

Urine glucose is a simple sugar group that still has diurine after going through various digestion processes. If there is dangerous urine glucose, it means that there is no urinization process caused by the hormone insulin. To find out whether or not there were differences in the results of the Urine reduction test benedict method in normal patients before and after being given vitamin C dose of 3x50mg / day. Research has been carried out with the title Comparing the Urine Reduction Test Results of the Benedict Method in Normal Patients Before and After Vitamin C 50 Mg / Day. This research was conducted at Kambang health center in March-July 2018. The population in this study was taken from all patients who went to Kambang health center. The sample in this study was urine taken from 30 students before and after being given vitamin C dose 3 times 50 mg per day. Data from urine reduction examination results in normal patients before and after being given vitamin C dose of 50 mg / day treated manually and the results processed in a narrative manner. From the results of research conducted on 15 people of Kambang Health Center patients, it can be concluded that the results of urine reduction testing in normal patients on average get a negative value, while after giving the vitamin the results are positive. Positive results were obtained between positive 1 - positive 2, due to giving vitamin C which was around 95% positive.
