Total cholesterol is an indicator to determine the risk of cardiovascular disease. This research methoded is observational analytic using cross sectional research design. The research was conducted in March 2020-February 2021. The population was all ASNs in the Siulak Mukai District, totaling 297 people with a sample of 100 people obtained by using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by conducting interviews, weighing and measuring height and checking cholesterol. Data processing was performed using the SPSS application. Data analysis consisted of univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the chisquare statistical test. The results showed that the majority of respondents had normal cholesterol levels (61.0%), more than half (59.0%) light physical activity, most (69.0%) fruit intake was sufficient, less than half (40 , 0%) adequate vegetable intake, less than half (42.0%) of the appropriate fat intake. Based on the bivariate analysis, it is known that there is a significant relationship between physical activity and cholesterol (p = 0.038), fruit intake with cholesterol (p = 0.000), vegetable intake with cholesterol (p = 0.000), fat intake and cholesterol (p = 0.000), and nutritional status with cholesterol (p = 0.001). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between physical activity with cholesterol, fruit intake with cholesterol, vegetable intake with cholesterol, fat intake with cholesterol, and nutritional status with cholesterol. It is hoped that health workers will be more active in increasing health promotion both in counseling and socialization about degenerative diseases.
