Abstract

32.SALMA DONA 1814201265 ABSTRACT Patient satisfaction is the first indicator of a hospital standard and is a measure of the quality of service. As one of the standards of nursing care, providing personal hygiene maintenance assistance for immobilized patients is considered very helpful in improving welfare, preventing nosocomial diseases and preventing the continuation of a person's immobility. The purpose of this study was to determine the position setting on the satisfaction level of immobilized patients. This research is a quantitative research design Quasi-experimental with post-test only with control group. The place where this research was conducted was in the Internal Room at Sungai Dareh Hospital. The number of samples consisted of 20 patients, namely, 10 experimental groups who were given position adjustments and 10 control patients who were not given position adjustments, then both groups were assessed for satisfaction. Data were analyzed using the Independent T Test with significance <0.05. The results of this study showed that the mean level of satisfaction in the intervention group was higher, namely 16.50 than the control group, namely 13.90 and there was an effect of body position adjustment on the satisfaction level of immobility patients with a value of p = 0.000. Suggestions for health care institutions to use positioning techniques every 2 hours effectively increase the satisfaction level of immobilized patients
