S1 NUTRITION STUDY PROGRAM COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES THESIS, September 2023 Adrany Yulia Roza THE EFFECT OF NUTRITION EDUCATION RELATED TO PARENTING USING THE FEEDBACK SHEET MEDIA ON INCREASING KNOWLEDGE OF STUNTING MOTHERS IN THE EAST SIKUCUA STUNTING LOCUS, PADANG PARIAMAN REGENCY IN 2023 ABSTRACT Stunting is a chronic condition that hinders children's growth due to long-term malnutrition. In Padang Pariaman Regency in 2022, the prevalence of stunting is 28.3%, in the Sikucua Health Center it reaches 15.83% of stunted toddlers. This study aims to determine the effect of nutrition education using worksheet media on increasing the knowledge of stunting toddler mothers. This type of research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental research design with one group pretest and posttest design. The instruments used are pretest, posttest and media questionnaires. The sample consisted of 30 stunted mothers under five at the East Sikucua stunting locus. Total sampling is analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed the characteristics of stunting mothers (66.7%) aged 26-35 years, most (59.4%) had a high school education, almost all respondents (96.9%) worked as housewives. The results of the analysis of the average knowledge of mothers before education with the media of the return sheet were 72.83 and after education became 87.67 with Pvalue = 0.000. There are differences in knowledge of stunting toddler mothers before and after nutrition education is given with a return sheet related to parenting. It is hoped that research on stunting with worksheet media can be a reference for other researchers who conduct further research with other methods by expanding the variables and research period so that validity can be guaranteed.
