Abstract

PIPI MAYA KARTIKA NIM: 13103084015395 (9) ABSTRACT Health development is an effort to meet one of the basic rights of the community, namely medical care. In Indonesia, toward optimal health status has not been fully achieved. This is caused by the high incidence of anemia. The incidence of anemia is included in the 10 diseases in Hospital Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. Anemia is a decrease in capacity of the blood to carry oxygen symptoms of anemia of an underlying condition, such as loss of blood components, elements inadequate or lack of nutrients needed for the formation of blood cells, resulting in decreased capacity of oxygen-carrying blood and there are many types of anemia with different causes; it can occur due to a decrease of Red Blood Cells (SDM), and / or a decrease in hemoglobin (Hb) in the blood disease anemia, which is characterized by levels of hemoglobin (Hb) and red blood cells (erythrocytes) lower than normal. If the hemoglobin level is less than 14 g / dl and erythrocyte less than 41% in men, the man is said to be anemic. Similarly, in women, women who have a hemoglobin level less than 12 g / dl and erythrocyte less than 37%, then the woman said to anemia, characterized by weak, tired, lethargic, dizzy eyes, power fikir decreased, and endurance decreases. Tn.A aged 65 years, with complaints of head feels dizzy, activity in most families help, pale face Hb 8.2 g / dl, so the priority dignosa nursing, activity intolerance, fatigue, self-care deficit bathing.
