Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis (pulmonary TB) is still a major health problem in the world, as well as Indonesia. Tuberculosis is one type of infectious disease that is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is a contagious infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is the third largest cause of death in the world after cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and can attack all age groups, even more frightening is the existence of Tb-HIV co-existence known as TB. the term "Double Trouble". This study aims to determine the number of eosinophils with tuberculosis. The method used is Hematology Analizer. Performed on 30 samples in Bangkinang District Hospital in February - June 2019. The examination results found that there were 20 people (66%) male and female patients as many as 10 people (33%) and found as many as 20 people (66%) of productive age and 10 (33%) people aged> 50 years. Based on the results of the study found that the number of normal eosinophils in tuberculosis patients was 26 respondents (87%) and abnormal eosinophil levels were 4 respodents (13%).
