Abstract
Pulmonary tuberculosis is a contagious disease that spreads through the air when coughing and sputtering. Airborne spreading from droplet infection. The source of infection is the lung tuberculosis patients who swell the sputum, where the sputum smear examination is generally found Basli Resistant acid positive. Coughing will result in droplet infection (droplet nuclei) The aim of this study is to know the description of positive pulmonary tuberculosis incidence based on direct microscopic examination and with concentration technique with Ziehl Neelsen dyeing. This research is survey with observation approach. Samples are patients who come to the Laboratory of Sawahlunto Regional General Hospital to perform sputum examination as many as 19 people. The study was conducted in February - March 2018 at Sawahlunto Regional General Hospital. The result of this study showed that from 19 suspects, there were 2 positive samples of BTA (10,5%) and 17 negative samples consisted of 8 samples (42,1%) of male and 11 samples (57.9%) were female. Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis with positive direct examination were 2 suspects. On the concentration examination was obtained positive smear on 2 suspect Tuberculosis with the number of bacteria 172 bacteria per 100 large field view and 151 per 100 large field view. With the most common age group at productive age, sputum smear negative examination was greater than positive sputum smear. Keywords: Tuberculois,Incidence,Prevalence,Concentration
